Guests are greeted at the impressive wrought iron gates on the cliff top, a clear sign you have arrived somewhere very special. Guests are then driven in a four wheel drive down a steep winding road to the water’s edge. The exterior of wooden lodge houses looks quite simple, but the interiors feature luxurious eclectic décor with pale blue shades, soft linen covered sofas, chandeliers from the vaulted beamed ceiling and very large glass doors flowing onto a veranda overlooking Hout Bay.
The 10 suites are positioned together along a decked path and each with an antique front door from Asia and are named after various places around the world - ie Antigua, Ithica, Cousine etc Each of these delightful rooms has air conditioning, seating area with a fireplace and features a full width glass door leading onto a private deck that overlooks the bay. At the end is a large decked area there are loungers and a small heated pool.
Tintswalo Atlantic serves breakfast daily in the dining room or deck and the fine dining restaurant offers a variety of tastes and cuisines. Lunch and dinner is available upon request.
Guests can relax and unwind, enjoying a drink in the lounge and bar, or maybe a massage is preferred after a day exploring Cape Town, this can be arranged upon request. The 24-hour reception can also assist in arranging local activities such as horse riding and fishing, etc
